CFA's month-long Get Fire Ready initiative kicked off on the weekend around the shire, with open day-style events continuing each weekend until 26 October.
On Saturday 4 October Euroa, Kelvin View, and Bailieston CFA brigades hosted events at their headquarters, with Boho and Locksley Brigades doing the same on Sunday.
Teagan Kubeil is the Junior Leader of the Euroa junior brigade and said the Euroa event had been a good day, with over 30 people - mostly families - dropping in.
"It's good to see what the community does and for them to see what we do down here," Ms Kubeil said.
"People get a sense of what goes on, in addition to the FMR (fire medical response) unit.
